You can’t go wrong with a homemade carrot cake. The spiced cake paired with a delicious cream cheese frosting is simply one of those perfect combinations we never tire of. With this FunCakes baking mix, you can easily make such a carrot cake yourself. The rich, spiced flavors of this cake are irresistible. Optionally, you can add nuts or raisins to the batter! Perfect for a cozy winter afternoon, an Easter high tea, or simply with a cup of coffee. This mix is also suitable for making carrot cupcakes.

With this mix, you can easily bake a delicious carrot cake:

• Just add water, eggs, vegetable oil, and grated carrots.
• Optionally add walnuts or raisins.

Contents: 500 g

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (160°C for fan ovens). Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Mix 500 g of mix with 80 ml water, 3 eggs (150 g), 150 ml (140 g) vegetable oil, and 150 g grated carrot. Optionally add chopped walnuts (25 g) and/or soaked raisins (40 g). Mix the batter gently for 5 minutes and pour into a greased and parchment-lined 20 cm square or 22 cm round baking tin. Bake the cake in the center of the oven for approximately 50–60 minutes until golden brown.

For cupcakes: Bake in approximately 25 minutes.

Ingredients: Sugar, wheat flour, whey powder (milk), potato starch, raising agents: E450, E500, herbs and spices (cinnamon), wheat starch, salt, emulsifier: E481 (palm), thickener: E415, flavoring.
