It’s not Christmas without homemade gingerbread cookies! These delicious spiced cookies, made according to an original American recipe, are easy to prepare yourself – just add water, egg, and butter to the FunCakes mix. Bake a charming gingerbread house or the traditional gingerbread man for Christmas. Decorate the cookies with FunCakes icing. A fun activity to do with the kids during the festive season!

Contents: 500 g

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Ingredients should be at room temperature. Knead 500 g mix with 1 egg (50 g), 60 g (cream) butter, and 60 ml water into a firm dough and let it stiffen in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface (3 mm thickness) and cut out the cookies. Bake in the middle of the oven for approx. 12 minutes until golden. Let the cookies cool and decorate as desired.
