Preparation: Use ingredients at room temperature. With a dough hook, mix 500 g of mix, 150 g (butter or margarine), 175 ml water, and 1 egg (50 g) for 3–4 minutes until smooth. Mix 200 g FunCakes Pearl Sugar with 20 g lightly melted butter. Add this sugar-butter mixture to the dough and mix for 30 seconds. Preheat the waffle iron and grease both plates. Shape the dough into balls of approximately 70 g each (about 15 pieces). Bake the waffles in the waffle iron for 3–4 minutes until golden brown. Decorate as desired with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
