FunCakes Mix for Carrot Cake 1 kg
You can’t go wrong with a homemade carrot cake. The spiced cake paired with a delicious cream cheese frosting is simply one of those perfect combinations we never tire of. With this FunCakes baking mix, you can easily make such a carrot cake yourself by adding only water, eggs, vegetable oil, and grated carrots. The rich, spiced flavors of this cake will leave you wanting more. Optionally, you can also add nuts or raisins to the batter! Perfect for a cozy winter afternoon, an Easter high tea, or simply alongside a cup of coffee. This mix is also suitable for making carrot cupcakes.
Instructions for 500 g:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (160°C for fan ovens). Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Mix 500 g of mix with 80 ml water, 3 eggs (150 g), 150 ml (140 g) vegetable oil, and 150 g grated carrot. Optionally add chopped walnuts (25 g) and/or soaked raisins (40 g). Mix the batter gently for 5 minutes and pour into a greased and parchment-lined 20 cm square or 22 cm round baking tin. Bake the cake in the center of the oven for approximately 50–60 minutes until golden brown. Also suitable for making cupcakes—bake them for approximately 25 minutes.
